Sarah Elizabeth: This is Me
Curious to know the writer behind the scenes?
I am Sarah Elizabeth. I am the writer and creator of this beautiful site you see before you—Sarah Elizabeth: One in a Million. I’ve always been someone who craves a creative outlet in their life. It’s a need I have to keep my sanity in tact.
I work a full-time job. I’m spending most days commuting to said job or running errands or running around town making sure I’ve had some face time with my friends and family—not FaceTime…like actual face-to-face time—and then a couple of hours catching some Z’s.
My goal for this website is to help those who are disabled or have a loved one who is disabled to know they’re not alone through the art of storytelling. I also want to share my love of my art and passion of social media management by providing my services.
I want to shine a light on the disabled community as well as the chronic illness community that I too am a part of, and hope to change the stigma of these communities in our society by bringing people together. (No matter how big or small that impact may be.)
I hope to inspire those to find their own voice in different ways—writing, drawing, music, talking, etc. I hope to educate those who are curious, but are too afraid to ask because they don’t want to offend anyone. I hope to bring awareness specifically about my rare disease, which in turn sparks someone to share their story.
